Andrea Peda

Andrea Peda is an assistant professor at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and serves on the board of directors for the upcoming Basseterre Animal Rescue Center.  Dr. Peda is a veterinary graduate from RUSVM and also has a Master’s in shelter medicine from University of Florida.  She is head of the 7 th  semester small animal surgery laboratory where students perform spays and neuters on client owned animals, and has started the first ever shelter medicine wellness program and shelter medicine elective course at the university.   She is the faculty advisor for all student run rescue organizations on campus, and she truly enjoys educating the students and community about small animal health and well-being.  Dr. Peda is dedicated to helping the community members and their pets to live happier healthier lives together.
