Eliza Van Reen, PhD (C.E.O. and Founder CPS) is an expert in sleep and circadian rhythms science with over 20 years of experience in the field. She has published dozens of peer-reviewed papers on sleep and circadian rhythms and has sat on the Scientific Review Committee for the Sleep Research Society. She received her PhD from Brown University and completed her postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School and The Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She was an Assistant Professor at Brown Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry and Human Behavior and Deputy Director of the E.P. Bradley Sleep Laboratory before leaving to start CPS in 2017. Dr. Van Reen founded Circadian Positioning Systems, Inc in 2017, and develops sleep and circadian rhythms technology backed by data and scientifically tested.
