Joe Brown

Joe has been a firefighter/paramedic for the last 25 years with extensive experience in pre-hospital medical emergencies and injuries. He is currently a fire department Battalion Chief, directing all aspects of emergency medical services, with emphasis on improving survivability for the out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Joe also serves as Adjunct Faculty at a local college in Columbus, OH. He has also worked as a paramedic at a pediatric Level 1 trauma center.

In addition, Joe is a maritime and aviation instructor with MedAire, and has taught the STCW95 courses, as well as assisting yacht crews with equipment needs and training recommendations.

He is a paramedic instructor, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support instructor, and is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and International Trauma Life Support
