Laurence Lewis is the founder and president of YPI CREW, the company she set up in 2002. Laurence discovered the yachting industry when she moved to the Riviera after a few years in California and London where she started her career in recruitment. What motivates her is the joy and buzz of transforming someone’s life by helping them secure a dream job. When everything clicks it’s a great feeling – the timing, the interest from the crew and the captain, the skill sets – the excitement of the job offer made and accepted, she never tires of it! Laurence is not a sporty person, but when it comes to business, she likes to be the front runner and has built a powerful team of recruiters who share her values of partnership and trust.
