Sophie Wells

I started my yachting career in 2015 after working in high-end London restaurants. What began as a junior stew role on a 55m motor yacht quickly became a long-term passion. I progressed to 2nd Stew on a 99m vessel, specialising in service and cocktails, before stepping into my favourite role— 2nd and then Chief Stew on a 55m charter sailing yacht. Towards the end of my yachting career, I also freelanced on yachts ranging from 60–100m, further refining my skills across a range of programs. Inspired by the incredible talent of my fellow crew, I transitioned into Yacht Crew Recruitment three years ago. Now as Senior Interior Consultant at Bespoke Crew, I love connecting outstanding crew with their dream roles and supporting the people who make this industry exceptional.
