My journey starts in January 2024. Land life just wasn’t wavy enough for me, so at the ripe age of 26 I did my STCW and Yachtmaster, packed my bags, and headed to Antibes in search of the promised land.
Along the way, I documented every step on TikTok to show the behind-the-scenes reality of breaking into yachting – the hustle, the set-backs, and the growth every green crew goes through. Since then, I’ve been approached by many aspiring crew members, and I’m always happy to support and advise anyone trying to get their foot in the door.
Since joining the industry, I’ve developed a real appreciation for sailing yachts, seamanship, and the daily rhythm of life at sea. I take pride in the small details – whether it’s teak maintenance, line handling, or just showing up with a positive attitude – and I’m constantly working to improve and grow.
Being nominated for Best Junior Crew means a lot. I’m committed to the long game, with a goal of earning my OOW ticket. But for now, I’m just focused on becoming the best crew member I can be, one day at a time.
