Tia Wong

Hi, I’m Tia – a 21year old stewardess from Devon.
I’ve been in the yachting industry for just under two years, and it’s taken me to some of the most breathtaking places I never imagined existed.

I’m a bubbly, upbeat person who tries to bring good energy to every crew I join. I thrive in a team setting, love keeping spirits high on board, and genuinely enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life. I’m also highly motivated and eager to work my way up to Chief Stewardess – always open to learning, growing, and stepping into new responsibilities.

My journey into yachting started early. At 16, I began working in fine dining, where I gained a strong foundation in high-end hospitality and eventually worked my way up to assistant manager. Alongside that, I did housekeeping for holiday cottages – life’s always been fast-paced for me, and I’ve always enjoyed staying busy.

I went on to study Accounting and Financial Management at university, but after a year and a half, I realised it wasn’t the right fit. With the last of my savings, I booked an STCW course, packed up my life in Sheffield, and took a leap into yachting – and I’ve never looked back.

To me, life is about experiencing the world, embracing different cultures, making meaningful connections, and collecting memories along the way.Yachting has shown me that there’s so much more out there than one place – and that with hard work, passion, and good energy, incredible things can happen.
