Nicole Willmott

Born in Johannesburg, I spent my younger years travelling southern Africa which instilled my love of travel. After completing a degree in Sports Science and a certificate in Sports Massage, I completed a Stewardess course, PB2, STCW and left for an adventure at sea.

I left for the Mediterranean in 2014. My first yachting job was as a seasonal sole stew/cook on a 27m. I then worked on yachts between 50-70m yachts for the next 4 years as a stewardess/masseuse and stepping up to chief stewardess in the final year. Initially working between the Med and Caribbean, however I have been based in the south pacific since 2017. During this period I continued to grow my professional development by completing a barista course, cocktail course, RYA Day skippers, Remote medical responder, Freediving AIDA Ocean 2. During my personal time I have been able to qualify as a private helicopter pilot, learn kitesurfing, surfing, and foiling.

For The past 2 years I have been working for a fleet as the chief stewardess. In the past year I have completed my GUEST IAMI purser & advanced leadership course, and stepped up to cover the fleet purser role for the next 6 months.

I have been working for the same organisation for over 4 years, and specialize in barefoot luxury for the guests. I strive to provide the highest standard with an infectious smile while creating a relaxing environment. I believe this is only possible with the support of a strong team who should be valued and supported.

I have learned in the diverse, fast-paced, and ever-changing yachting industry it is important to be multi-talented, aware and understanding to maintain a safe and successful operation.
