Leading yacht refit and repair centres in Bangkok and Phuket, Thailand.
Our Story
Clearvac Engineering Asia provides leading superyacht refits and onboard systems maintenance across the Asia Pacific. With established bases in Bangkok, Phuket, and Singapore, the company delivers world-class workmanship supported by strong local infrastructure and regional mobility.
Founded by Rob ‘Doc’ Taylor, a seasoned chief engineer with decades of global yachting experience, Clearvac has built a reputation for attention to detail, reliability, and on time delivery. Trusted by captains and yacht management worldwide.
CEA operates in the Bangkok Dock for large-scale superyacht refit projects (up to 114 meters LOA) and is also in partnership with Ratanachai Shipyard, in Phuket, for island-based projects (up to 45 meters LOA). These facilities allow for full-scope, refit capabilities with an in-house engineering / fabrication workshop, dedicated logistics, and rapid access to materials, products and Labour.
Our Expertise
Yacht refits cover all aspects of mechanical engineering, including hydraulics, plumbing, welding and fabrication, propulsion and steering systems, stabilisers, main engines and generators, water-makers, and much more. We also handle exterior painting and antifouling, teak decking, fibreglass repairs, and interior refits. All requests can be managed by our in-house teams or professional long-term subcontractors.
Alongside refit services, CEA delivers a proven range of preventative maintenance programmes to safeguard performance, safety, and compliance. These include fire-risk removal from galley and laundry systems, advanced air-hygiene, freshwater system services, and a proprietary black and grey water pipe descaling process.
Supporting every stage of a yacht’s lifecycle with precision and care.
