How good are your splicing skills? Join a practical session by FKG for an opportunity to explore the dark-art of splicing. This workshop will provide an overview of different types of lines & rope and when to use them, and how to make sure you are always in compliance with Flag and Class requirements. We will examine the different materials and explain how this affects the strength, abrasions resistance and ease of use. You will be focusing on the basic splices needed to help you through difficult situations onboard. We will also practice those essential ‘knots’ you need to know followed by a Q&A session at the end of the workshop.
