You are invited to join the workshop of The International SeaKeepers Society on the importance of sustainable yachting, from avoiding single-use plastics to participating in citizen science. SeaKeepers’ Green Guide to Boating is an excellent tool for any vessel or marina to learn how to lessen their impact on the environment while still providing an enjoyable experience for guests, and they will cover the basics of this guide in our workshop. They will also discuss how plastics and other pollutants affect our oceans and what the yachting community can do to address these issues. The workshop will conclude by educating participants about SeaKeepers’ citizen science opportunities, where anyone can be involved in research that is vital to protecting our oceans.
