Carey Secrett

After several years working around the world as Management Consultant for the financial services sector, Carey moved to the Antibes area in 2009, and happened upon the shore-based side of the yachting industry. Having spent 6 years working in strategic marketing in various different yachting fields, including Charter Management, Tender Charter and Financial Services for yacht crew, Carey joined the PYA team in 2015 as Marketing and Development Manager. Since then she has been instrumental to the modernisation of the only association to represent professional yacht crew.

Roland Archdall

Roland Archdall has worked in the Superyacht Industry for 10 years. Previous to working with RDT, Roland was the Commercial Director of The Superyacht Group for 9 years where he gained an extensive knowledge across a broad range of sectors within this niche market.

Roland moved to RDT recognizing Tempus IC2 as the leading telemedicine technology available on the market, passionate to ensure that Tempus IC2 becomes the established industry standard. As Global Head of Yachting, Roland’s role involves working with yachts, builders and yacht management companies to support them with their medical equipment and preparations onboard.

Danny McGowan

Danny has worked for trade unions and professional associations for over ten years. Working at Nautilus International his focus is on officers, crew and shoreside workers in the large yacht industry. He is part of a global team of experts at Nautilus, who for 160 years have been assisting seafarers when things go wrong, and promoting safety, welfare and professionalism in a way unrivalled by any other organisation.

Thouraya Hasnaoui

Thouraya, jewels designer, has created her own brand Sahaya Pearls Creation in 2012​. She uses fine material such as Swarovski or Czech crystals, Murano glass, precious pearls and metal and finds her inspiration in Nature. She creates with her soul and her jewels are the expression of what she feels, sees in someone and in what surrounds her. Her work is unique and she likes challenging herself imagining tailored made jewels per her client’s requests for corporate events.

Michelle Thornton

With a degree in Sports Sciences and qualifications as a Personal Trainer and Masseuse, Michelle began her career as a Stewardess/PT/Masseuse in 2009. Quickly learning the ropes on board, she gained experience in a variety of other roles and worked her way up to Chief Stewardess on-board motor yachts ranging from 30m-62m. Back on land since 2014, Michelle is passionate about helping other individuals excel in their yachting careers and aims to draw on her variety of experiences to achieve this.

Caroline Navarro

Caroline’s passion for the industry began many years ago when she worked as a Yacht Chef worldwide for over 10 years. In the last 3 years she has followed the position as Sales & Marketing Manager for Camper & Nicholsons flag ship marina, the Grand Harbour Marina in Malta.
Caroline brought much of her experience as crew to the marina; focusing on the best way to take care of crew and captain needs through concierge services and regular activities. Most recently Caroline has been appointed Global Development Advisor in Hong Kong, towards supporting the growth of the Asian market.

Pandora Matherlees

Pandora holds a first-class degree in the History of Art from Manchester University and an MSt. in Ancient History from Keble College, Oxford. She is a member of the Association of Art Historians, The Worshipful Company of Arts Scholars and a Fellow of the RSA. Her career includes 22 years in the cultural sector with several commercial arts organisations including the critical area of logistics. Widely travelled in the museum world globally, she has also studied in France, Germany and Italy. Pandora’s areas of interest are classical Greek & Roman art, 18th century neoclassicism and early 20th century Abstraction.

Hazel Anderson

Hazel enjoyed a long career as a Chief Stewardess, joining the industry in 1997 and spending her last 5 years on MY Lady Christine, a privately owned 68M Feadship. As well as being involved with the build, she travelled extensively on the yacht worldwide, working closely with the Captain and owners, managing accounting, provisioning, logistics and maintenance, crew recruitment, as well as the management of the hospitality service and housekeeping. Since retiring from a life at sea she has
concentrated on providing training, setting up ‘VIP Service School’ and feels very passionate about helping new crew get a start in the industry.

Leonardo MacLean

Leo has been with ONE Palma since 2013 when he first began working under composites master Javier Esterelles. A quick study and lover of engineering, Leo leveraged his more than 15 years prior experience in carpentry and construction to become the now head of composites for ONE Palma, working closely with Naval Architect and Founder, Peter Bresnan.

Guido Romano

Guido has served as a sailing instructor, crewmember and sailmaker. He has crewed both racers and cruisers and raced in well-known regattas from the Rolex Swan Cup to the ORC World Championships on boats from 40 to 100 ft. During the last few years, Guido has been honing his sailmaking skills with us; it’s doubtful you will find more finely finished sails than Guido’s.

Jorge Rodriguez Roda Fuertes

Jorge speaks English, French, and Spanish as well as other languages. He is an important member of the team in Palma as the customer relations manager. Using his language skills, technical skills and sense of service, he makes clients feel comfortable and ensures they are understood. This helps to make the job well organised and completed to complete satisfaction.

Pedro Lopez Gejo

Pedro manages Nautiel Services in Palma. He is a fantastic team leader, launching the office in Mallorca in a few months, including the hiring of a great team of young professionals. Organized and responsible, Pedro is in charge of all the services provided to our clients in Palma and has already managed some exceptional projects.

Jaume Badia Juan

Jaume has been working in Nautiel since 2001 and has quickly gained the reputation as a great team leader and a perfect technician. Trained by Prochem and woolsafe and with a depth of experience, Jaume is THE textile treatment specialist. He became the first Spanish Woolsafe approved Fiber Care Specialist in 2015 and he and his his team are working in the most prestigious superyachts in Barcelona, Tarragona, Valencia and Palma de Mallorca, as well as in the South France and North Italy. Jaume enjoys everything about interior and exterior textile maintenance and projects including carpet, upholstery, curtains, mattresses, umbrellas, leather, vinyl and more!

Ricard Garcia Navas

Founder of Nautiel Service in Barcelona in 1991, Ricard puts all his energy and experience in offering the most professional services for the yachting industry. Ricard is convinced that quality is the result of great people that are highly trained and well motivated. Nautiel is a specialist company both in temporary protections and cleaning services on board. Ricard’s goal is to provide the best high quality services in Palma, Barcelona and Valencia and continue serving the biggest superyachts.

Angie Lenton

Angelique has worked in the yachting industry for over 25 years, as a chef aboard charter and private vessels for 17 years and currently she works at Galleytek as a sales director and designer. Together with her partner Salvis AG of Switzerland, Angelique supplies cutting edge galley equipment, ranges, refrigeration and storage solutions of the highest quality and functionality. “My specialty is fitting in the best features needed in a galley to create a fully functioning modern space while considering the long term usage and energy solutions for the yacht’s specific requirements.”

Kat Yegorova

Kat has worked for over 10 years in diverse areas of the Spa and Beauty, gaining experience of high end spas on both land and at sea. Working in Spa management and development worldwide, as well as managing a new build spa on a yacht,has provided Kat with a real insight in to delivering exceptional Spa experiences to owners and guests. Kat believes that exceptional service coupled with outstanding products and equipment are the main drivers in client satisfaction.

Greg Hoar

Greg is Wild Group’s founder and has twenty years of knowledge and expertise working with vinyl films.He started making boat names from vinyl in 1995 in the Hamble, UK, going on to wrap a 92 ft Round The World Racing Catamaran for Tracey Edwards three years. In 2010 the business looked at wrapping as a finish on superyachts, and in 2013 Greg started working on over 100 yachts a year for Sunseeker in their UK factory, a relationship continuing today.Greg is always at the forefront of new ideas in yacht finishing, introducing new products and ways of improving services to clients and he is often seen talking at industry events.

Graham Hill

Over the last 30 years, Graham has developed an unrivalled depth of knowledge and industry experience pertaining to industrial microbiological and corrosion problems across various industry sectors, and is author or co-author of more than 40 technical and academic papers. He has worked with a wide range of shipping companies and vessel operators during his career, from both the Commercial and Leisure Marine sectors, and has helped them resolve some complex microbiological contamination and corrosion issues in the process. Graham currently serves as Managing Director of ECHA, and has held the position since 2012.

Nico Röper

Nico has started his paint career in 1983 as painter, later foreman and project manager for a paint application company where he experienced and mastered the application side of the paint industry. This was followed by a position as manager of the technical service department with a paint manufacturer where the ins and outs of the paint manufacturer side were mastered. From 1998 till present he has been active as paint consultant in both commercial and super yacht industries, only taking on projects for owner side to safeguard his independent position and avoid any possible conflict of interest which may arise from working for other parties in the industry. 

James Lawrence-Felton

James has over 20 years’ government and international security experience and has worked extensively in hostile regions with elevated risk. Specialising in Land Operations he has vast experience in strategic & operational planning, crisis management, emergency response, evacuation planning, travel risk management and executive protection. Since 2009 he has worked predominantly in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA), West/East Africa and the Far East, gaining crucial experience in hostile environment security operations whilst working in accordance with international/national security regulations and regional government requirements. James played a key role in the Middle East during the invasion of the “Islamic State” in 2014 where he conducted a mass evacuation in line with planned triggers and emergency protocols.

Kay Wooldridge

Kay’s background is in the banking, insurance and legal sectors. In her previous role with a large law firm she had responsibility for accounting administration in strict accordance with SRA (Law Society) quidelines, during which time she successfully oversaw numerous stringent audits. She also has time-served experience in team management roles within large financial organisations, which involved undertaking recruitment, personal development plans, team scheduling and reviews. Kay joined the SBP team a little over 2 years ago and very much enjoys the logistical aspects of arranging crew travel, recruitment and looking after the contractual elements of crew employment.

Georgina White

Before Georgina ‘discovered’ administration and accounts, her first love was for electrical and electronic engineering. It’s her eye for detail and this interesting mix of know-how that makes her very comfortable getting into the nitty gritty of superyacht accounts. Georgina heads up the SBP division overseeing the whole team’s duties. She is experienced in a variety of accounting packages, as well as on- and offline information systems and processes. She regularly consults with management companies and owner’s representatives to develop and report on budgets and expenditure. She is eagerly awaiting graduation from MTA having recently completed their Superyacht Management course

Nicola Moule

Nicola’s entrepreneurial background and passion for all things organisational led her to establish this successful outsourcing firm in 2000, a few years after graduating Brunel University with a degree in European Business. A fledgling concept then, outsourcing is now a fast growing business practice. Based in Falmouth, Cornwall, the company has worked with a wide variety of marine clients over the years including M/Y and S/Y superyachts, a marine consultant, a marine engineering firm, a boat construction yard and superyacht interior fit out company, Shore Based Pursers is a division of Fridaygirl devoted to the administrative support of superyachts.

Rob Langford-Wood

Rob joined Osprey after 8 years working for B&G (Navico) in a variety of technical roles, most recently as product manager for the H5000 instrument and autopilot system. Rob’s methodical approach enables him to break down seemingly complex systems and help clients get the most out of the available technology in a way that’s easy to understand

Rachel Oliver

Rachel established Osprey in 2011, and she owns and manages the company by combining her passion for sailing and navigation with a Masters Degree in Engineering. Rachel’s focus for Osprey is to not only deliver technical innovation and a quality product, but to do it with a strong focus on professional customer service. She has 11 years of experience in the industry supporting many top teams in the IMOCA 60 and Volvo Ocean fleet before establishing Osprey.

Katy Rosales

Katy Rosales, the chef at The Galley Club was born in Spain but has followed her passion for cuisine around the world.
Katy began her studies in Barcelona and Ireland but went on to gain work experience in exclusive restaurants and hotels all over Europe. In addition to this, she spent a year in Thailand improving her skills.
In 2007, Katy decided to combine her passion for the ocean, nature and sailing with her love for good food and joined her first yacht S/Y Arrayan. Katy has crossed the Atlantic four times, of which one time was onboard the S/Y Mari Cha III. Moreover, she spent 18 months working onboard the M/Y Ilona of 74m.
Now she has brought her passion to Mallorca embodied in The Galley Club.
