Sustainable Development is at the Heart of the Christophe Harbour Resort

A quarter of the land on St. Kitts is American Oceanic Rainforest, one of the rarest ecosystems in the world. By working with the government and local organisations, sustainable developments such as Christophe Harbour will preserve this exquisite Caribbean landscape for generations to come. St. Kitts also boasts coral reefs, historic shipwrecks, and a renowned sea turtle monitoring program.
Christophe Harbour has founded the ‘Christophe Harbour Foundation’ to support conservational, educational, recreational, cultural, historical and social development projects in St. Kitts and Nevis. They are also jointly developing programs to monitor turtle populations, undertaking other extensive environmental surveys and implementing erosion control measures.
Most importantly the philosophy is one deeply rooted in stewardship for the land. Care of the wildlife and ecosystems of the area are integral to the entire project and will always remain at its heart.
