Dressing up for a party is a big part of the night.

1) ACCESSORIES ARE EVERYTHING
When planning your outfit think about what you already have and how you can accessorise to increase dancefloor fun and take your outfit to the next level. Hats, Boas, Capes, Gloves, Sparkly Things and Jewellery. Weapons, Staffs, Shields, Mops and Flippers. Moustaches, Wigs, Glasses and Hair Accessories. Out of the box, on to the dance floor.
2) USE WHAT YOU HAVE / SHARING IS CARING
Delve deep into the recesses of your clothing back catalogue. When you put your mind to it, there’s bound to be some rare combinations that can spark an amazing outfit. Sharing is caring so beg, borrow and swap! A sequinned purple number might be run of the mill for a dainty stewardess but lend it to a burly deckhand and you’re on to something.
3) MAKE IT ALL UP
This is where the ‘super’ prefix to the ‘heroes’ theme can come into its own! 4) KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN
Everything you need to nail an outfit will appear before you in time for the party. You just have to keep your eyes and ears open. Talk to people, share ideas; your inspiration and how to deliver it is out there.
5) BE COMFORTABLE
Any hero or villain is CONFIDENT. If you’re comfortable in your outfit in every way the confidence will ooze and it won’t matter how quickly you knocked it together, it will be killer.
