Hailing from Ontario Canada, Captain Ken Bracewell grew up cruising the waters of the Great Lakes aboard his family’s commercial tour boat. This background laid the groundwork for his first yacht command in 1995. In his subsequent twenty-seven years at sea, Ken has sailed to some of the world’s most remote locations and nurtured numerous crew aboard vessels ranging from 25 to 70 meters, many of whom are now respected captains in their own right. He wholeheartedly supports the ACREW Awards and feels that recognizing crew achievements is vital to promoting excellence in the industry.
