The workshop focuses on the proper care and maintenance of a yacht’s teak deck, including creating a maintenance schedule and making minor repairs that can be done by the crew. The session will cover different types of teak decking commonly found on yachts and how environmental factors can affect the deck. Participants will learn about best practices for a scheduled cleaning program using the proper products and gain knowledge about making small repairs to the deck. By the end of the session, crew members will have a comprehensive understanding of developing a cleaning program, making minor repairs, and the different types of marine decking available.
