Captain Ian started his Yachting career 27 years ago after finishing University and with a background in diving and sailing gained from a childhood spent growing up in the Caribbean. Over that period, he worked on some great Yachts like Lady Christine, Lady Marina, Tatoosh and White Rose of Drachs and completed two circumnavigations. Since moving up to Captain, he has commanded the high-speed Feadship Ecstasea, the Amels ‘Z’ and most recently the 86m Lurssen Quattroelle, mainly operating in the Mediterranean, The UAE and the Indian Ocean. This is Ian’s third year on board Phoenix2 and he enjoys the challenge of making her a successful charter Yacht within a tight team.
