With over 44 years of hands-on experience in the superyacht industry, I’ve honed my skills aboard vessels from renowned shipyards like Lurssen, Feadship, Oceanco, Amels and Codecasa.
My professional life began in 1979 as a cabin crew, then on the yacht Nabila in 1982 I started to reach great levels. From there, in 1987, I took command of my first yacht. In 1991, I joined as first officer and then after 12 months I became commander on a 41-metre (135-foot) Feadship named King K and it was the boat that brought me success in the charter market. I won various awards including Captain of the Year from Fraser Yachts at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2003. The same owner, in 2004, bought Lady Lola, a 63m (207ft) Oceanco, an exceptional and beautiful boat, and I enjoyed many more years of great charters with VIP clients.
My tenure on both Private and Charter yachts has cultivated essential leadership and organisational skills, allowing me to adeptly manage crew dynamics, ensure seamless operations, and maintain high safety and service standards.
