I come from humble beginnings, and I can only say that since day one of my life, I have faced
various challenges. Some people might think it’s tough to always have obstacles in their way, but
for me, it’s not. I love a challenge! I enjoy starting from zero and creating new chapters in my life.
Looking back and seeing what I have achieved is a gift. I have come so far and reached a place
that I never thought I would be in today. Life is good! Bring it ON!
I am an engineer with a passion for sports and fitness. Before yachting, I was a Fitness Coach
training clients at the gym and also organising activities outdoors, creating experiences that most
of them would never think about experiencing before. Truly rewarding on making a difference
and changing those peoples lives for the best.
When I moved to this industry for more than 5 years, I can easily say that it has been one of the
best decisions in my life. I enjoy being in the ocean, being in contact with nature outdoors, and
entertaining guests. The industry taught me that ensuring the safety and well-being of the
owners, guests, and crew is the key point of my job and I focus 100% on making this happen. I
often get asked about, from the people I meet, about the industry. Obviously they find this
lifestyle fascinating and want to know more about it. I enjoy sharing all the information and
knowledge that I have, and motivating, helping people who want to be part of it.
Being nominated for and winning the Award of Best Engineer & ETO 2022 was fantastic and
unexpected. I am so grateful to everyone who made this possible. The following years, receiving
an invitation to be a judge in the Acrew 2023 awards was also a true honour. And now, being
nominated for the Engineer & ETO award in 2024, so unexpectedly, and feels out of this world. I
guess I am doing something right and good out there, folks.
It will be a pleasure to be part of this amazing event again this year. The number of people
involved and working hard to make this possible, every year, is truly incredible. It shows how
passionate the people working in this industry are.
