KRM Yacht’s 900-Ton Travel Lift Completes Tests and is Ready for Operation

KRM Yacht has successfully completed the testing of its newly installed 900-ton travel lift, which is now fully operational at its Tuzla/Istanbul facility. The lift, capable of accommodating yachts up to 70 meters in length, underwent extensive testing with a 1,100-ton load, confirming its capacity and reliability for handling large-scale refit and repair projects.

Now the largest travel lift of its kind in Turkey, this new equipment enables KRM Yacht to take on even the most demanding superyacht projects with unmatched precision and efficiency.

This year has also been a landmark for KRM Yacht, with the company achieving LRQA certification for quality, environmental responsibility, and safety, and becoming a member of the prestigious ICOMIA Superyacht Refit Group.

Kerem Başer, Managing Director of KRM Yacht, reflected on the achievements:
“This year has been truly remarkable for KRM Yacht. With the successful testing of our 900-ton travel lift, our LRQA certifications, and our membership in ICOMIA, we have set the stage for even greater accomplishments. These milestones enhance our ability to support larger and more complex projects while reaffirming our commitment to excellence in superyacht refit and repair.”

With the 900-ton travel lift fully operational, KRM Yacht is well-positioned to handle a wider range of superyacht refits and repairs, further cementing its position as a leading destination for yacht services in the Mediterranean region.
