I am a newbie in the yacht industry, have now been working for Wrede Consulting since December 2017 as an assistant project manager for the Wrede 10 Point Program – electronic measurement and analysis of painted yacht surfaces. Since then I have been involved in three newbuild projects and some refits and aging surveys/measurements. In Wrede Consulting next to my origin functions, I took over tasks in marketing and PR, and business development too.
After studying business administration I worked as a sales consultant in the automotive industry. This was followed by many years as a freelance consultant in different industries, e.g. marketing/social media, IT and renewable energies. Since my childhood near the North and Baltic Sea I can often be found on the water as I ́m an enthusiastic, experienced sailor and skipper.
Six years ago I got the honorary appointment as captain of the gaff-rigged 12mR yacht “HETI”. We sail in many classic and 12mR regattas on the Baltic Sea with this yacht.
