Working on deck can be a dangerous job. The best way to ensure that risk is minimised is to strive for the highest level of professional competence in all departments onboard and to follow the safety procedures and guidelines in place. In this workshop crew will practice some important ropework techniques and discuss how to stay safe when using them. With years of experience, the Gremco team of Gavin, Christophe and Romain will circulate and assist, facilitating discussions about safety onboard and answering any questions crew may have.
Thankfully crew safety is becoming increasingly prioritised in the superyacht industry and workshops such as this serve to help move these developments forward with greater speed and clarity.
