In 2010 9,700 refugee crossings to Europe were documented. So far in 2015, 819,218 have crossed the Mediterranean in hope for a better life with 3,460 dead or missing.This session considers the practical preparations and actions you might take in the event you do encounter migrants in distress at sea, not only to save lives but also to protect your crew and vessel.
