I’ve been very fortunate to have worked under some great Captains during my career and am now lucky to be in that situation myself.
A good yacht cannot be operated or maintained by an individual, it requires a team effort from an excellent crew. I believe in encouraging the progression and development of our crew onboard and that the key ingredient to building an excellent crew is hard work and leading by example.
The crew and I onboard are extremely lucky to be working on a fantastic yacht, with great owners and an excellent program. It is our duty as crew to ensure that the Owners get maximum enjoyment out of their yacht – we should not forget that at the end of the day that the entire industry would not exist without happy owners!
