Being a purser requires a broad range of skills and experience and has two principle elements to it; Interior Operations and Financial Management. Shore Based Pursers will present a clear picture of all of the constituent parts of the role and provide their expertise in helping existing or aspiring pursers improve. Topics will include bookkeeping, invoicing, expenses and accounting form the world of finance management, and cover organisational elements from the interior side such as effective communication, managing staff and improving time management. With a range of experienced specialists on hand, there will be plenty of opportunity to ask for advice with any particular issue or questions pertaining to any aspect of the role.
