After studying for an English Degree at Durham University, Ted worked for almost 10 years as a teacher in a large secondary school in South West England, becoming Head of Department and Media Studies Moderator as well as being trained by the BBC to teach film and media to teachers.
The followed a 10 year period working for Apple Computer where he became Regional Sales Manager and New Media Manager with many large clients; BBC, The Times, GCHQ, BP and more.
23 years ago, Ted formed Clear Blue Sky, a 30 strong media company involving promotional and training videos for the North Sea Oil and Gas industry and other areas.
For the last 20 years, CBS has produced training, safety and promotional videos for some of the world’s most prestigious superyachts and associated companies.
With his satellite organizations in LA and Kentucky producing documentaries and films for TV and DVD releases, CBS now has bases close to the yachting hubs of Antibes and Fort Lauderdale and continues to lead the field of training, video and technology in the Superyacht Industry.
