Having been at sea since the age of fourteen I have a lifetime of experience and knowledge in all aspects of the sea going side of the commercial environment initially as a cadet deck on officer, then on to Royal Navy Reserve as a pilot and then back to sea in an engineering capacity. Achieving the heady rank of Unlimited Chief Engineer.
Moving to yachts in 1998 and then coming ashore in 2003 I became involved in the shore based service side of the industry. This allowed me to use that 27 years of experience and knowledge to benefit the crew and owners of the yachts that we worked and still work with. The past 17 years of shore based experience adds to the sea time knowledge base further allowing me ( and the team around me) to pick the areas of true expertise and take them to the ultimate levels of customer satisfaction. I am always looking for the new and current trends in products and service and we grow year on year as a team. That team spirit has allowed me to be afforded the privilege to accept personal awards such as the “VSAT Stella Award for “Executive of the year 2019” and to be given a platform to encourage and mentor the youth entering the industry. I am, as a member of the Honorable Company of master Mariners, a Livery Company of the city of London proud to Mentor new sea going cadets for both the commercial and yachting sectors. As well as provide the ultimate support and service to all users of the seven seas.
