MANAGING UNIFORM: SIZING, STOCK PLANNING AND INVENTORY CONTROL

The challenge of having a crew beautifully turned out in their uniform presents many complicated problems to a stewardess. This workshop will address how to measure your crew to ensure accurate sizing, as well as tips on how to manage the uniform inventory and ordering. Covering the basic measurements, how to take them and how to record them with sample documents for participants, as well as time to practice measuring. The presentation will move on to more general issues in terms of uniform including different fabrics, material qualities, garment usage, stock planning and inventory control. Ex-Chief Stewardess Hazel Anderson of VIP Service School shares her years of experience and Ed Taylor of Taylor Made Designs will add a valuable perspective from the manufacturer. There will also be plenty of time to answer ANY question related to crew uniform!
