Georgie Mainey is an expert in food safety management, quality assurance and compliance-based training. Backed by first-hand experience as a chef, her impressive resume includes hands-on luxury hospitality experience and tertiary qualifications in hotel management and teaching.
As well as holding various interior roles onboard superyachts, Georgie has been the Head of School at a Grade 1 Hospitality College and Lead Exam Writer and Quality Assurer for National Hospitality Qualifications in the UK.
Most recently, Georgie was the Hotel Fleet Training Consultant for both Cunard and P&O cruise lines, managing and overseeing projects to meet ship operations and crew development. Given her maritime experience, Georgie is also well-versed in liaising with flag states and international accreditation bodies.
Georgie is the perfect person to lead the MFA. She has taken her expertise in managing yacht crew and specialist knowledge from the cruise industry to develop the Manager in Charge for the Luxury Yacht training program.
