Rob joined Inmarsat in 2011 with a strong background in product marketing, proposition development, product and service launch and marketing. He spent the first four years at Inmarsat running the enterprise market delivery teams that successfully launched IsatPhone Pro, IsatPhone 2, IsatHub, BGAN Link and BGAN HDR to name a few.
Based in London, Rob now oversees the Yachting and Passenger unit in Inmarsat’s maritime business division.
Rob spent the first ten years of his career in pre-sales support and consulting for real-time financial information products and services. After completing an MBA from Ashridge Business School in 2000, he joined Bandwidth Technologies, a satellite services provider, as a business manager.
In 2002, Rob joined Arqiva as Head of Product Marketing for carriers and enterprise, and was instrumental in them becoming one of the first UK companies to acquire an iDirect hub, enabling smaller satellite service providers to operate their own virtual satellite platforms.
Three years prior to joining Inmarsat, Rob moved to TelecityGroup, the pan-European carrier-neutral data centre operator, as Head of Product Management, where he helped develop their cloud computing platform.
As well as an MBA, Rob also holds an HND in Electronic Engineering.
