Recognising that crew are truly at the heart of a high-quality guest experience makes them the most valuable asset in the superyacht industry. Crew Spotlight is a COVID19 safe coming together of superyachts in Sint Maarten at the beginning of the Caribbean season. Participating yachts benefit from the exclusive chance to shoot a Charter video showcasing their crew, enjoy complimentary onboard learning and partake in social activities designed to boost morale and team cohesion. Furthermore, vessels that wished to berth in Yacht Club Port de Plaisance received 3 days free berthing. 

The ACREW+ Crew Spotlight event was COVID safe coming together of superyachts in Sint Maarten to shoot videos that showcased the crew for charter vessels. Long term ACREW partners Port de Plaisance also shared the vision of helping the industry in these challenging times and were therefore offering three nights of free berthing for the duration of this event. Complementary training from industry experts and a host of crew activities added further value to this unprecedented experience.

As many charter shows have unfortunately been postponed or cancelled, ACREW created ‘Crew Spotlight Charter Videos’ that provided a solution for brokers to source the information they need. Great brokers know how to match the unique requirements of a client with the personality, capabilities and experience of a particular vessel. A ‘Crew Spotlight Charter Video’ provided a quality introduction to the crew of a yacht, promoting easy and well-informed routes to securing charters.

 

CREW SPOTLIGHT CHARTER VIDEOS

As Charter Shows have unfortunately been postponed or cancelled, ACREW created Crew Spotlight Charter Videos to provide a solution for superyachts to showcase their 2020 Crew to Brokers. The video provided a quality introduction to your crew, highlighting the personality, capabilities and experience of your team. These videos enabled brokers to match the unique requirements of a client with your vessel for successful charters this season.

ONBOARD LEARNING 

Superyachts partaking in Crew Spotlight benefited from a host of complementary onboard learning. The sessions were designed to build an understanding of your team’s strengths as well as boost the knowledge and skills of every individual onboard. The onboard learning was delivered by Luxury Hospitality, Sentini Marine and ACREW. Sessions included an Interior and interactive Deck session. There was also a possibility to book bespoke training sessions, making the best use of the presence of the Luxury Hospitality facilitators. These sessions could be on mixology, service, valet, barista and hookah. Please contact us for more information.

TEAM BUILDING ACTIVITIES

In ACREW style there were wellbeing activities designed to boost team cohesion, morale and energy. These activities included yoga, fitness and watersports. Rest assured, every activity we delivered was conducted in a COVID safe environment. 

FREE BERTHING 

Long term ACREW partners, Port de Plaisance also shared the vision of helping the industry in these challenging times and were therefore offering three nights of free berthing for vessels participating in the Crew Spotlight event package. 

Rest assured that all trainers and ACREW staff throughout the event adhered to strict sanitation measures, wore masks and had been tested negative for COVID-19 in the days before the event.
