Anastasia Yushkova, CEO and Founder at Anchor-VR, started her career in the superyacht industry in 2005, as editor-in-chief of Boat International magazine and The Superyachts book in the Russian market. From 2011, she steered the relaunch of Yachting, Russia’s premiere marine magazine, leading its total digital transformation. In parallel, Anastasia did marketing communications consulting for Burgess in Russia and translated the Galactica Star book for Heesen Yachts. After the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, she took part in strategy development for the Sochi Marine Club and the new Sochi Grand Marina and built a national and international communications campaign for the first SCF Black Sea Tall Ships Regatta.
At Anchor-VR, Anastasia has managed to unite highly motivated professionals, acting in various spheres of Extended Reality, including 3D real-time content creators, VR and AR artists, 3D modelers, project managers, integrators, consultants and accountants with decades of international experience. Known for its creative 3D, VR and AR solutions for the superyacht industry, Anchor-VR is now extending its expertise in immersive and interactive experiences to include maritime crew training. “Virtual Reality is really a great training method,” says Anastasia Yushkova, “It boosts engagement, stimulates people’s focus and interest. And it improves knowledge retention by breaking through learning modals to help trainees not just visualize but actualize their experience.”
Anastasia holds an MBA in Marketing and Sales from Vienna University of Economics and Business and an MA in Journalism from Moscow State University.
