Deniz finished the Istanbul Technical University Maritime Faculty Deck Department in 1999 and after that he started to work at Ataköy Marina İstanbul as Harbour Manager. He was also responsible of foundation of Ataköy Marina Yacht Club and organising yacht races and establishing sailing school for yacht club. After 8 years of experience he worked different areas of yachting business for 4 years. In 2011 he moved to North Cyprus and as Marina Manager to Karpaz Gate Marina while it was under construction. After finishing the construction the marina started the operation and in 4 years awarded with 5 Gold Anchor status. Also he was operator of 300 BHT travel lift and supervising dry dock and technical services. In 2018 he moved back to Turkey and started working at Yalıkavak Marina as Marina Director. He supervised the 5 Gold Anchor Platinum assessment and Clean Marina certification by TYHA.
