During her almost ten-year career at sea, Gemma Hulbert served as Chief Stewardess on vessels ranging from 50 to 75 meters.
Building on her experience and accolades, Gemma transitioned into entrepreneurship. In 2021, she founded The Yacht Stew Academy (TYSA), a GUEST accredited training school committed to providing accessible education to Interior Crew. The following year, she launched TYS Recruitment, a specialized agency placing crew within the superyacht industry. Both companies now boast global teams of former and current interior crew, ensuring services informed by up-to-date, real-world experience.
