Jonathan Struwe is a senior inspection engineer and surveyor for underwater technology and is responsible for several manned submersible classification projects at DNV GL, including the first commercially classified, full-ocean-depth-rated manned submersible “Limiting Factor”. He is part of the Underwater Technology Section of DNV GL and is mainly involved in the design approval, analysis and inspection activities related to manned and unmanned submersibles.
The technical experts at DNV GL’s Underwater Technology Section deal with approval and analysis of a wide range of underwater systems and provide, besides approval according to the DNV GL Rules for Underwater Technology, technical expertise based on an engineering approach.
