Laura Garcia-Bartenfelder is a partner at United Island & Yacht, a full-scale yacht agency operating in Florida and the Bahamas. Raised between England and Spain, she spent 20 years in the Bahamas, initially working in the corporate sector on New Providence. Later, she moved to Harbour Island, Bahamas where she owned and operated a scuba diving center while raising her three daughters. Now based in the USA, Laura has overseen the growth of United Island & Yacht’s offices in Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, and Stuart. Her passion for the ocean and dedication to customer service make her a valuable asset to the company.
In addition to her role at United Island & Yacht, Laura serves on the board of the Treasure Coast Rowing Club and The Association of Bahamas Marinas. In 2022, 2023, and 2024 she represented the Association at the Monaco Yacht Show alongside fellow board members and Cabinet level Bahamian officials.
