Patrick Robinson is the Managing Partner of a Family Office that administers over the investment funds of his family’s various business enterprises. Previously, Pat was with investment firm BMO Nesbitt Burns, most recently as Senior Vice-President & Managing Director, in Vancouver. In these roles, he has been actively involved with preserving and growing investment capital for over 25 years.
As Co-founder and Chairman of Arius Technology, Pat lends his financial expertise to the growth and development of Arius, expanding the potential of the cutting-edge data acquisition and analysis platform, which has broad application throughout the art world. Since 2015 Pat has helped lead the Arius team from intensive Research and Development, to product launch and commercialization.
Pat’s background also includes leading the personal financial planning operations of an international accounting firm and the founding and the sale of a successful business. In addition to these business skills, Pat achieved his designation as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia, and his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of British Columbia.
Pat has been an investment advisor to institutions and individuals for almost 30 years and is active in his community, in the past serving as a trustee on a major trust and endowment funds. Combining his unique background and involvement in Canada’s private investment community, Pat will take to the stage as a thought-leader in the art-technology and finance space.
