Simon Ratcliffe is a chartered engineer (CEng) and member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. He has experience from the defence, maritime and offshore industries and has had roles ranging from consultancy to engineering design work. At DNV GL, he has led and coached several innovation projects and currently works for the DNV GL group centre in a team tasked to innovate and develop transformational business models for the company.
Simon Ratcliffe recently led a multidisciplinary X-team in Singapore with the responsibility to identify a position and business model for DNV GL-related Additive Manufacturing. His focus is on how DNV GL can help to build Additive Manufacturing ecosystems and to unlock the benefits of the technology for industry.
