began my yachting career in the 80’s in San Diego, as a captain on charter and private motor and sailboats. In 1990 I got the opportunity to run a private 50-meter motor yacht. I worked for that family for 20+ years and ran a series of yachts from 50m to 100m. It was a great opportunity as I not only was Captain but Project Manager on many large refit projects for the owner.
