I’ve been in the yacht industry for almost 30 years now, starting as a yacht painter and finishing as a project manager until I join WREDE Consulting this past summer. As a yacht painter / project manager, I’ve past 24 years working for Pinmar SL and during that time, I’ve been involved in multiple new builds and refits on some of the most important Mega Yachts of the recent years.
During my days in Pinmar, I was also in charge of the Pinmar Paint academy since the first edition, working alongside with recognised paint surveyors and Awlgrip technicians and showing to the crews the technics and knowledge to spot repair their vessels The maintenance course we designed, will show the crews now how to avoid unnecessary damages putting a bit more of skills over environmental conditions and pollutants that can affect their vessel during the washdown.
