My name is Gherghina Soacat, friends and family calls me Gina, born and raised In Romania, I joined the yacht industry over 20 years ago. Nine of those years I’ve spent on the Motor Yacht Ingot, a 46m private motor yacht owned by a wonderful family based out of America. During my time on board we’ve cruised between the Caribean and New England.
During my 20+ years in this industry I’ve had seen the size of the yachts and the crew increase greatly. During this time I’ve had the pleasure to work on some beautiful yachts including M/Y Alcor, M/Y Summerwind, MY Sindonemo, M/Y Antares, MAY Ma Biche, M/Y Barbie, M/Y Shootingstars, M/Y Achilles,
MAY Breaveheart, M/Y Cocoa Bean
On a daily basis I strive to make the yacht owners, guests and crew feel and pamper during their time on board. On this private yacht, owners, guests and crew have become like family.
I enjoy being creative and encouraging creativity among those in my department. Attention to detail is a priority. I enjoy expressing my creativity as I design flowers arrangements, table settings, holiday and celebrations decorations, event planning and preparing for crew birthday celebrations
I love my time in the yachting industry including the travel and adventure, but most of all, I love the people that I have been fortunate enough to meet, learn from and work with.
