Jeff is originally from British Columbia, Canada. He grew up on a beautiful lake and started handling boats when he was young. In 2002, he left Canada and moved to the Caribbean where he started as a scuba diving instructor. Jeff spent several years living and working in the Bahamas on various vessels and resorts. In 2018 he finally got his commercial captains’ license after working in the Cayman Islands captaining boats from 50-65 foot range from power boats to sailing catamarans. He has been captain of several yachts since 2018 including trips to the Bahamas from Florida, up the east coast of the United States and back. Jeff captained a vessel from Stockholm, Sweden, to Mallorca, Spain taking it down the east coast of Sweden through the Kiel canal in Germany and along the west coast of Europe, into the Mediterranean. He has done charters on larger yachts of 150 foot as well as yachts of 90 foot. Jeff has spent a lot of time on charter boats in the Exuma’s.
