Anna comes from beautiful Cape Town in South Africa where she grew up surrounded by mountains and the ocean. Anna is a Chartered Management Accountant (CMA) whose corporate career spanned 15 years and took her to the UK, USA, Netherlands and her home country, South Africa. Her sense of adventure and her love of the ocean, however, got the better of her and Yachting combined these passions. Anna has been in the industry for 11 years and still enjoys everything Yachting is offering – the challenges, as well as the adventures. She thrives in the Purser role, enjoying the diversity of the role – the problem solving, hard work, as well as ensuring a smooth and seamless stay on board, whatever the requirements are. Anna loves scuba diving, free diving, yoga and hiking; so, when she is not above the water on MY Polar Star, she is normally underneath the water, exploring the wonders of the underwater world.
