I was born on the coast of the amazing South Africa, Durban where I spent my childhood growing up on the water. My family owned a boat which we would use on weekends for all types of entertainment. I was part of the national swimming team for South Africa which I loved being apart of. I matriculated and further studied a diploma in hotel management but I had a desire to do more with my life. I had heard about yachting through a friend and thought it sounded like the perfect job to suit me and my personality.
My love for the ocean and being in a social environment is what attracted me to the yachting world.
I started out in the USA where we traveled the East coast, Bahamas, Caribbean and Galápagos Islands and what an amazing experience! I had then gained enough experience to leave that side of the world and to come over to Europe to seek a new and more challenging job.
I have now been in Europe for the past 2 years, I have climbed the proverbial ladder and I am now chief stew of a 63meter charter yacht where I am in my element.
I work with a large interior team and a big crew where I can lead and inspire my team and make us a great charter boat.
I love the rush of the charter industry and I take each charter as a new challenge, my goal is to exceed all expectations and make the guests feel like they have yet to have another experience like this.
I am a peoples person and love being in the company of my fellow crew members.
I am social, active and I live a well balanced lifestyle.
I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else in the world than being exactly where I am currently in my life.
