With almost 20 years experience as a Captain and many more working my way up the ranks, my passion for this industry goes far beyond my role on board. In my 20+ years I have worked on private and commercial yachts in locations all over the the world.
By working with incredible people and innovative businesses, I have been fortunate to have a varied career full of opportunities and have seen this industry evolve into what it is today. My passion for people has led me to create an environment both on and off the boats I have worked on, where I can provide support and mentorship to young and aspiring crew.
As I move into the latter years of my career, it is this that drives me and that I use as a measure of my success. Whether it’s for equality, mental health support or education, I believe we all have a chance to leave this industry a better place and create a legacy for the next generation of trailblazers to come.
