At 18 i moved to the Cayman Islands to figure out what i wanted to do with my life. I would always see these ‘superyachts’ show up now and again and they always intrigued me. I always thought that must be the pinnacle of the marine industry as i drove the parasail boat along 7mile beach. After 6yrs being a beach bum, 3 years at uni and a bit of a cocktail bartending spree, i finally went to go look for a job on a yacht. Ive been in the industry 7 years and never looked back. Every day i get emails and messages about getting into the industry and i help as many as i can to get started as i got little to no help and it was a real struggle for me, even with heaps of large tender experience. My marketing degree has helped me position some of my photography to make it attractive to companies that have used some of my content. Catching a vessel at its best angle in a serene setting is what i love to do, yacht design and its ever increasing bold designs are what interests me the most.
