• What is your history? (Where were you born, grew up? Education? University? Travelling? Family?)

I was born and bread in Gibraltar, known as the rock. After successfully completing a BSc degree in psychology at the University of Hull (UK) I returned to Gibraltar where I began full time employment in the banking/finance industry.

After 8 years of paper pushing and not feeling as having much of an impact on my surroundings, I decided to leave the office environment behind, venture out and start my own photography/videography company. This move inspired me to develop a new skillset, form a creative outlet and appreciate the value of creating meaningful work.

Not long after a friend of mine from back home introduced me to yachting, an industry I knew nothing about. I spent a year researching it and at the ripe old age of 30 decided to sell all my belongings, move to Antibes, France and try my luck at landing a yachting job.

Fast forward 5 years, I have been fortunate enough to move up the ranks from service stew to purser / concierge, enjoying every day, all its challenges, the people, the lifestyle. The most rewarding feeling of all is knowing that you are having an impact.
