Liina, a stewardess with 6 seasons under her belt and still cruising in the waves of yachting. Her passion for the industry started even before she even knew what yachting was. Her previous experience, sailing with friends in the Med and trawling around in Botnian and Baltic Sea with her dad since a kid, was definitely the fire starter. She has been sea bound for as long as she can remember.
Thanks to her previous experience as a furniture and interior designer, she has established a calibrated eye for esthetics and detail that is really important as being part of the interior crew. Creativity and DIY’ s are definitely one of her strongest sides. She also has a talent for flower arrangements and table decorations. Being artsy and creative is definitely a useful skill to have when putting together Bond themed dinner parties or planning 60’s themed karaoke nights for the guests, anything to make the events extra special to create an even more memorable experience.
Besides creating and making Liina has also dived into the world of wine that has become a passion that allows her to serve her guests with even more pride and confidence. Talking about wine is always a good conversation starter that creates a lot of spaces for interesting stories, wine yards and their history, and wine making techniques. And don’t we all have that one great story to tell that started with wine drinking?!
Yachting is hard, being a stewardess is often tiresome, so goes to any other position on the yacht but it’s all worth it when you get to make the guests happy, guessing their favorite breakfast playlist, high- fiveing the crew on a drop off day and doing backflips off the boat after a successful guest trip.
