Growing up I could be found in one of two places- a swimming pool or with my nose in a book somewhere. Any vacations to the seaside would find me in the ocean or as close by as I could be. I have had an affinity to water my entire life, and I have been lucky enough to have found a career that allows me to do what I love best; all whilst being surrounded by water.
Yachting started as a job where I’ve been able to travel to the most phenomenal destinations whilst providing the highest service and care for the guests and maintaining the vessel to the best of my abilities. Some of these amazing destinations include Raja Ampat, Fiji, Australia, the Caribbean and of course the Med & Turkey. Once the necessary skills were instilled and I could begin teaching others, my career really started taking off. Safety and crew well-being has become a large focus in my workplace and mentality, ensuring that not only is the vessel in ship-shape, but that the crew are able to create a welcoming and happy environment for themselves and the guests.

8 years down the line, having almost completed my OOW 3000, I enjoy the challenges of learning new information every day, with an insatiable curiosity about the inner and outer workings of any area onboard, with particular regard to navigation and crew training. My goal within the next 5 years is to hopefully be well on my way to my Captain 3000GT.
