Born to yachting parents, I grew up looking at photos of their super yacht circumnavigation, which sparked a passion for a life on the high seas. My obsession with food also began early, preferring to watch cooking shows rather than cartoons, and I developed a small but enduring crush on Heston Blumenthal. Pre-galley, I took a few career detours, training to become a dive instructor on the Great Barrier Reef and skippering sailing boats in Greece, before finally starting my yachting career in 2013. After attending Ashburton Culinary School in Devon, I have stepped in front of the chopping board and haven’t looked back. Food obsessed, I’m at my happiest with either a very sharp knife or a loaded fork in hand. I started my YouTube Channel ‘The Crew Chef’ after encouragement from Jared Watney, and ever since have enjoyed creating videos of my life onboard. Previously head chef on a 55m and now taking a hiatus to spend time with family, my favourite thing to eat is pasta. Talents included telling brilliant jokes, walking on my hands and being able to consume 6 cheeseburgers and feel no guilt.
